Rosacea

Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory condition causing facial redness, acne-like pimples, visible blood vessels, swelling, and sometimes eye irritation. It's not contagious, and it's manageable with the right care.

When to come in

Unlike normal flushing, which clears within hours, rosacea redness lasts longer and tends to become more noticeable with triggers. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends seeing a board-certified dermatologist if you notice these signs, since rosacea is often mistaken for other conditions.

  • Facial flushing or redness that lasts longer than normal
  • Acne-like breakouts that don't clear with standard treatment
  • Visible blood vessels or persistent warmth in the skin
  • Stinging or burning when applying skincare products
